Under Royal Patronage: Hassan Lights the 40th Torch of the Jerash Festival, Celebrating Four Decades of Creativity

Under the patronage of His Majesty the King, Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan lit the torch for the 40th edition of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts today, Wednesday. This marks the launch of an exceptional edition celebrating four decades of culture and creativity, with artistic and cultural activities set to begin tomorrow and continue through August 2nd.

The opening ceremony took place at the North Theatre in the ancient city of Jerash, attended by official, cultural, and artistic figures. Minister of Culture Mustafa Al-Rawashdeh, Chairman of the Festival’s Higher Committee, delivered the official address, while Mohammed Bni Yaseen, Head of the Greater Jerash Municipal Committee, spoke on behalf of the local community.
