A delegation from Brazilian (COOPADAP) visits NARC

A Brazilian delegation of (17) members of the Brazilian Cooperative Association (COOPADAP), was briefed on the research projects during their visit to NARC in order to exchange experiences in many agricultural fields.

Haddad said that NARC and all researchers are fully dedicated to transfer and exchange scientific research outputs with institutions and associations concerned with agriculture, especially advanced and producing associations that have real achievements on the ground.

Regarding the projects of the Agricultural Innovation Incubator, Haddad expressed his pride in the pioneering projects and creative ideas that will enhance the development of the agricultural sector by transforming creative ideas into real projects, where he stated that it is the first of its kind at the regional level, while emphasizing on the opportunities for collaboration in exchanging scientific expertise and training, transfer of modern technologies, and developing plant and animal varieties and breeds that have a clear reflection on the productivity and quality of the agricultural production in Jordan.

During the visit, Haddad directed the delegation to network with Jordanian companies from the private sector, especially in the fields of pesticides, fertilizers, veterinary treatments, and agricultural production inputs, indicating that Jordan exports seeds to about 50 countries around the world.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Cooperative Association (COOPADAP), Mark Miyazaki, referred to the advanced role and good reputation that NARC has achieved among donors, international research centers, and civil society institutions concerned with agriculture. He also expressed his admiration on the infrastructure, laboratory services, and the agricultural innovation incubator at NARC.
