Unstable weather conditions are forecast to affect the Kingdom on Tuesday, bringing cloudy skies in the southern and eastern regions, with scattered showers, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Rainfall is expected to be heavier with thunder, lightning and hail at times, causing flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, while winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the Badia, the JMD further said.
The weather department warned of poor visibility in the morning and late night hours over the highlands due to dust, and of slippery roads in areas experiencing rain.
On Wednesday, the country will remain under the impact of unstable conditions with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and occasionally heavy downpour accompanied by thunder, lightning and hail in some cities, causing floods in valleys and lowlands, the forecasters predicted.
Moderate weather conditions will prevail on Thursday, with clouds at various altitudes and northwesterly moderate winds.
Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 24 degrees Celsius and a low of 14C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 32C, sliding to 21C at night.
