أصدرت دائرة الإحصاءات العامة تقريرها الربعي حول معدل البطالة في المملكة للربع الأول من عام 2019.
وأظهر التقرير أن بلغ معدل البطالة خلال الربع الأول من عام 2019 وصل إلى 19 %، بارتفاع مقداره 0.6 نقطة مئوية عن الربع الاول من عام 2018.

وسُجل أعلى معدل للبطالة في الفئتين العمريتين 15-19 سنة 20-24 سنة، حيث بلغ المعدل 48.7 % و38.5 % لكل منهما على التوالي.
أما على مستوى المحافظات فقد سُجل أعلى معدل للبطالة في محافظة الزرقاء، بنسبة بلغت 21.7 %، وأدنى معدل للبطالة في محافظة الكرك بنسبة بلغت 14.4%.
