أطلق مدير الأمن العام اللواء فاضل الحمود مبادرة “الجسد الواحد” بهدف تعزيز مفهوم التكافل الاجتماعي بين أبناء المجتمع الواحد بمناسبة حلول شهر رمضان المبارك.
وقال اللواء الحمود في حديث لإذاعة الأمن العام اليوم الاثنين، إن المبادرة تأتي انطلاقا من حديث سيدنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم “مثل المؤمنين في توادهم وتراحمهم وتعاطفهم مثل الجسد إذا اشتكى منه عضو تداعى له سائر الجسد بالسهر والحمى”، وحرصا من مديرية الأمن العام على تنفيذ توجيهات القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة الأردنية جلالة الملك عبد الله الثاني بضرورة تلمس احتياجات المواطنين، ودعواته المستمرة بضرورة توجيه الطاقات للخير والإحسان ترجمة لقيم الإسلام السمحة.
وأضاف اللواء الحمود “اننا نتطلع إلى تلبية احتياجات بعض الأخوة المواطنين، وأن نخدم مواطننا الذي يستحق تقديم كل خدمات مميزة له وهي حق له وواجب علينا”.

وقال الحمود إن الخدمات الشرطية لم تعد تقتصر فقط على الخدمات الشرطية التقليدية المتمثلة بتعقب الجرائم وضبط مرتكبيها وتحوليهم للقضاء، بل أصبحت الخدمات الشرطية تمتد إلى العديد من المناحي والمجالات منها المجالات الاجتماعية، وصولا لمفهوم الأمن الشامل بمفهومه الواسع.
