وحسب قانون الانتخابات الجزائري، تتواصل عملية جمع التوكيلات 45 يومًا قبل إيداع ملف الترشح كاملا أمام المجلس (المحكمة) الدستوري للنظر فيه.
وفي العاشر من الشهر الجاري حدد الرئيس الجزائري المؤقت عبد القادر بن صالح 4 يوليو/تموز المقبل، تاريخا لانتخابات الرئاسة، وهو موعد يتزامن مع الذكرى الـ57 لاستقلال البلاد في 1962.
