تنطلق في الفترة من 25 الى 28 من نيسان الحالي اعمال المؤتمر الدولي الخامس عشر للرابطة العربية لجراحي الاطفال والثالث للجمعية الاردنية لجراحة الاطفال.
وقال رئيس المؤتمر ورئيس اللجنة التنفيذية للمؤتمر الدكتور هايل عجيلات “ان الهدف من اقامة هذا المؤتمر هو تبادل الخبرات والإطلاع على آخر المستجدات العلمية في مجال جراحة الأطفال والارتقاء بالمستوى العلمي والفني للمشاركين ، اضافة الى ابراز دور الكفاءات الاردنية المتميزة في هذا المجال” .
وأضاف خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقد بالامس للإعلان عن فعاليات المؤتمر “بأن عدد المشاركين في المؤتمر بلغ ما يقارب ال (200) طبيب بمشاركة واسعة من مختلف الدول العربية والاجنبية ، كما تم دعوة عدد من الاطباء الاجانب من المملكة المتحدة وبولندا وكندا وفرنسا وتركيا وألمانيا” كمحاضرين ومشاركين في ورشات العمل المقامة على هامش المؤتمر يومي الجمعة والسبت

ومن جانبه قال الدكتور ناجح العمري “بان الاردن حقق قفزات هائلة في مجال جراحة الاطفال ،.
وقال “ان المؤتمر فرصة للتعريف بالمستوى المتقدم الذي وصلت اليه جراحة الاطفال في الاردن بخبرة قاربت الـ ٤٠ عام” .
