وعن علاقة المواطن بالحكومة قالت غنيمات، لا نلوم المواطن عند انتقاده للحكومة ولكن نبحث عن الأمل ونقرّ بوجود فجوة الثقة ونسعى لتقليصها من خلال تحسين الأحوال بقدر الإمكان.
وأضافت أن الحكومة تسعى لتحقيق التوازن في العبء الضريبي، الأمر الذي يحتاج لوقت ضمن المرحلة الانتقالية، مؤكدة أن الحكومة تلتزم بنقل الاقتصاد إلى الحالة الإيجابية من خلال حلول مستدامة، وهناك تفهم واضح من مجتمع الأعمال وأصحاب الأعمال بأن الأردن جاد في تحقيق الإصلاحات.
وشددت غنيمات على أن لا زيادة على الدين العام بعد قروض «لندن» لانها قروض ميسرة بأسعار فائدة أقل وسدادها طويل الأمد، مشيرة الى ان الغاية من مؤتمر لندن هي تحقيق النمو الاقتصادي وخفض نسبة الدين إلى الناتج المحلي الإجمالي.
وقالت غنيمات ان الاقتصاد الوطني خضع لحصار غير معلن، بسبب الأحداث التي رافقت ما يسمى بالربيع العربي، وهذا أدى إلى تدني وتواضع معدلات النمو، وتفاقم المشكلات الاقتصادية من ارتفاع معدلات البطالة، وارتفاع عجز الميزان التجاري، والمديونية والفقر.
ونبهت غنيمات إلى انه إذا بقي الاعتماد على القطاع العام في خلق فرص عمل سنبقى ندور في المشكلات والمعاناة نفسها من الفقر والبطالة، وتدني مستوى المعيشة، مشيرة إلى أن الانتقال إلى حالة أخرى يحتاج لمعادلة جديدة تتطلب الإعتماد على الذات، وحل المشكلات وجذب الاستثمار وبالتالي خلق النمو وخلف فرص العمل.
وقالت غنيمات أن الأردن ذهب إلى لندن لإخبار العالم بجاهزيته لاستقبال الاستثمارات، وامتلاكه مصفوفة اصلاحات سيطبقها وفق آلية وضعت لمراقبتها.
