بعد أيام من انتخاب نيجيرفان بارزاني، رئيسا لكردستان العراق، وافق البرلمان، الثلاثاء، على تسمية ابن عمه، مسرور بارزاني رئيسا لوزراء الإقليم الذي يتمتع بحكم ذاتي.
وذكرت وكالة “فرانس برس”، أن أعضاء البرلمان صوتوا خلال الجلسة التي عقدت في أربيل، عاصمة الإقليم، على انتخاب مسرور، وذلك بـ87 صوتا من أصل 111.

ومسور هو نجل رئيس الإقليم السابق، مسعود بارزاني.
وكان البرلمان انتخب أواخر مايو الماضي، نيجيرفان بارزاني، رئيسا للإقليم، بعد شغور المنصب لمدة عامين.
وقاطع جلسة التصويت حينها نواب أبرزهم أعضاء حزب الاتحاد الوطني الكردستاني (21 نائبا)، الذي يعد المنافس السياسي الرئيسي للحزب الديمقراطي الذي يتزعمه مسعود بارزاني.
