تتأهب بريطانيا لمواجهة ليلة هي الأكثر حرارة في تاريخها، الأمر الذي دفع السلطات إلى إصدار تحذيرات بشأن التعامل مع الأمر.
وذكرت صحيفة “تلغراف” البريطانية، الثلاثاء، أن درجة الحرارة الصغرى يمكن أن تصل ليلة الثلاثاء الأربعاء إلى 24 درجة مئوية في جنوب شرق إنجلترا.

وتتعرض المملكة المتحدة حاليا لموجة حر، من المتوقع أن تستمر حتى نهاية الأسبوع الجاري، على أن تبلغ ذروتها في بعض المناطق في جنوب شرق إنجلترا الخميس مع وصولها إلى 37 درجة مئوية.
ومن شأن ذلك أن يحطم الرقم القياسي لشهر تموز وهو 36.7 في عام 2015.
وأمام هذه التطورات، أصدرت السلطات تحذيرات للسكان بشأن التعامل مع هذه الأجواء الحارة، مثل تفادي التعرض للشمس وشرب الكثير من الماء وتفقد كبار السن الذين يعيشون بمفردهم.
وكان هناك تحذير بشأن الليلة الحارة، فقالت السلطات إنه من المفضل الإبقاء على النوافذ مغلقة لمواجهة الأجواء الحارة ليلا.
