– أطلق قسم الارشاد الزراعي في مديرية زراعة الكرك برنامجا وطنيا لتوعوية المزارعين بألوية الكرك بطرق مكافحة ذبابة ثمار الزيتون والحد منها لضمان جودة الثمار .
وقالت رئيسة القسم المهندسة رائدة المعايطة ان الحملة تاتي ضمن البرنامج الوطني للمكافحة والحد من انتشار ذبابة ثمار الزيتون في مختلف مناطق الوية الكرك، لافتة الى ان الهدف هو توعية المواطنين بأهم الاجراءات، وتقليل نسبة الاصابة بهذه الافة لما له من اثر في زيادة إنتاجية ونوعية الثمار وزيت الزيتون.
واضافت ان البرنامج الذى يشرف عليه مجموعة من المهندسين المختصين اشتمل على لقاءات بالمناطق التى تكثر بها زراعة الزيتون بالكرك كمنطقة العينا والقصر وفقوع ولواء عي لتعريفهم باهداف البرنامج وخطة العمل، موضحة ان قسم الارشاد الزراعي وبجميع كوادره يعمل لخدمة القطاع الزراعي وتقديم كل اشكال التوعية والمساعدة وخلق ثقافة زراعية من خلال الندوات والمحاضرات عند المزارعين.
