تقدم الأردن 18 مرتبة عالمياً، ومرتبتين على المستوى العربي في بيئة الأمن السيبراني، وفق ما أظهر التقرير الصادر عن الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات التابع للأمم المتحدة، والخاص بالإصدار الثالث من التقرير العالمي للأمن السيبراني (Global Cyber Security Index 2018) والذي يقيس مدى التزام الدول الأعضاء بتحسين بيئتها السيبرانية.
وقال التقرير الصادر مؤخرا، أن الأردن تقدم من المرتبة 92 عالمياً إلى المرتبة 74، ومن المرتبة 10 عربياً إلى المرتبة 8، حيث شهد الأردن تطوراً ملحوظاً في مجموع درجاته التي بلغت 0.556 مقارنةً بـ 0.277 في العام 2017 و 0.206 في العام 2014.
وقالت وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة، أن تحسن البيئة السيبرانية في الأردن جاء نتيجة للجهود المشتركة بين الوزارة والقوات المسلحة والأجهزة الأمنية والبنك المركزي الأردني والقطاع الخاص، والتي أثمرت عن تقدم الأردن 18 مرتبة عالمياً، وفقا لمؤشرات القياس التي اعتمدها الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات، حيث يهدف التقرير إلى رفع مستوى الوعي بالأمور السيبرانية، ومشاركة الممارسات الفضلى بين الدول الأعضاء، وذلك من خلال استناده إلى أدوات قياس لتقييم جاهزية الدول بناءً على خمسة محاور أساسية وهي: النواحي التشريعية، والتقنية، والتنظيمية، وبناء القدرات، والتعاون على المستوى الإقليمي والدولي.
وصنف التقرير أن البيئة السيبرانية في الأردن بمرحلة النضوج، بعد إصدار الاستراتيجية الوطنية للأمن السيبراني، وإنشاء الفريق الوطني للاستجابة للحوادث السيبرانية (JO-CERT)، إضافة إلى وجود الشبكة الآمنة للألياف الضوئية.
وأوضح التقرير أن الأردن يعمل على تمكين الإدارة الفاعلة للبيئة الوطنية السيبرانية، حيث ظهر ذلك من خلال إصدار الأردن للاستراتيجية الوطنية للأمن السيبراني، بالإضافة إلى إطلاق مجموعة من السياسات الوطنية للأمن السيبراني التي تعمل على تحسين الإدارة العامة والإدارة الفنية لدى الجهات الحكومية، وإعداد مسودة قانون للأمن السيبراني والتي تهدف إلى إنشاء مركز يُعنى بإدارة الامن السيبراني على المستوى الوطني.
