منعت وزارة الزراعة 600 طن أرز مستورد من دول شرق آسيا الى الاسواق المحلية بسبب متبقيات المبيدات الزراعية.
وصرح الناطق الاعلامي لوزارة الزراعة ان بناء على توجيهات وزير الزراعة المهندس ابراهيم الشحاحدة من خلال برنامج رصد متبقيات المبيدات الزراعية في المنتجات البستانية قامت وزارة الزراعة بإطلاق البرنامج الوطني للرقابة على المتبقيات خلال نهاية عام 2018 ومن خلاله تم عمل فحص الارساليات المعدة للتصدير وفحص أكثر من (900) موقع إنتاج في المناطق الزراعية والمواسم المختلفة وفحص عينات دورية من الأسواق المركزية كما تم فحص الارساليات البستانية والمحاصيل الحقلية والبقوليات والارز ومنتجات الحبوب المستوردة عبر المراكز الحدودية.
ومن خلال هذا البرنامج تم رصد مخالفات في محصول الأرز المستورد من بعض دول شرق آسيا كون مستوى المتبقيات المسموح به لدى هذه الدول أعلى من المسموح بها في الأردن الذي يعتمد دستور الغذاء الدولي والمعايير الأوروبية وبناء على ذلك رصد مخالفة وجود متبقيات المبيدات بمستوى مخالف في حوالي (600) طن من الأرز المستورد وقررت وزارة الزراعة عدم السماح بإدخالها إلى السوق الأردني بعد التنسيق مع المؤسسة العامة للغذاء والدواء ومؤسسة المواصفات والمقاييس الأردنية.
وأكد الناطق الاعلامي أن وزارة الزراعة ستعمل على تطبيق مستوى متبقيات المبيدات الجديد اعتبارا من تاريخ 2019/8/31 على كافة الارساليات المستوردة وتم تبليغ المستوردين الاعضاء في نقابة تجار المواد الغذائية بضرورة الإلتزام بتنفيذ مستوى متبقيات المبيدات الجديد.
